Remada MUSA Cascais

On the 24th July, the Musa Cascais row joined more than 70 people to take part in a row that began in Cascais Bay and extended to the beach of São Pedro do Estoril, about 5 km away in the open sea !

In addition to the classic surf, long board, bodyboard and stand up paddle categories, this row also counted on the participation of the brave ones, that are swimmers that make the crossing without any type of support, and also the free ones, that although they go to swimming have the support of fins.

The first athlete to arrive at the beach of S. Pedro took about 30 minutes to make the crossing and the last to arrive took about two hours.

This initiative aims to revive the memories of a race that made history in the panorama of Portuguese surf and alerts the population to the problem of pollution of the Oceans.
