Youth Employability Day

During the day, the Cascais Jovem space had two sessions that helped the young people find the best tools to face the future.

This international project, Employability Tools, focuses on the creation of useful and easy-to-use tools to develop employability skills and was created with the support of the European Commission's Erasmus + program and in the framework of the Strategic Partnerships for Youth.

A group of trainers, youth workers, community leaders, career counselors and project managers from 6 different organizations in Portugal, Belgium and Italy gathered ideas for two years, from 2016 to 2018, to produce an application, a board game, a agenda and a manual for employability technicians, whether teachers or social workers.
These 4 tools are aimed at different audiences, but all of them redirect them to reflection, self-knowledge and personal development in various dimensions of employability. There are no watertight advice, right answers or wrong answers, but challenges, launching questions and inspirations that will allow you to see where you are and what direction you want for your professional life project.

In this way, the creators believe that these tools help develop the skills to find and keep a job, in an optics of creativity, proactivity and constant adaptation.
If today you could not be present, do not worry - you can find all these tools for free at www.emplay.eu and you will not lose all the tips to become what all companies and employers are looking for.
