In the framework of the European Youth capital Cascais 2018, the public tender for the creation of the Porjeto LoJA Cascais Jovem at Parede began.
 
Our Cascais Jovem Spaces are informal and free access municipal spaces, which are intended as poles for young people and for young people - as a space for dynamism, creativity, participation and information. They are spaces for attendance, information, consultation, study and reading.
 
We provide information in areas as diverse as Employment, Training, Free Time Occupation, Workshops, Events, Youth Tourism, Mobility, Scholarships and Internships.
 
We are spaces of Health and Sexuality with consultations of Psychology and Nutrition, and assistance in Vocational and Professional Orientation.
 
In the relationship with the urban surroundings, the new construction must constitute as a structuring element of the public space in which it is inserted, with a well-identified image from the architectural point of view and that has a positive public impact.
 
The maximum estimated value for the overall cost of the intervention, including building and outdoor spaces, is 900,000.00 € (nine hundred thousand euros) excluding VAT.

The Jury will consist of:
- Architect João Tiago Gonçalves, appointed by the Municipality of Cascais, who chairs
- Alderman Nuno Piteira Lopes, appointed by the Municipality of Cascais
- Architect Mafalda Ambrósio, appointed by the Order of Architects South Regional Section
Alternate members:
- Architect Marco Ferreira, appointed by the Order of Architects South Regional Section
- Jurist Maria Inês Alves, appointed by the Municipality of Cascais
 

(25%), adequacy to the functional program (20%) and technical feasibility and sustainability of the proposal (20%).
The deadline for submission of proposals is until December 14, 2018 (5:00 p.m.)
