Yesterday, June 20, the launch of EMPLAY Employability Tools was launched at the Centro Cultural de Cascais.
Together with other partners in Portugal, Italy and Belgium, the Cascais City Council has been developing the Employability Tools project since 2016 under the European program Erasmus + / Key Action 2: Strategic Partnerships for Youth.
The Employability Tools project aimed at the design of 4 tools to develop employability skills: an App, a Board Game, a Tips & Hints Agenda and a Manual for the technicians who work on this theme. The skills that have been worked through are communication, knowledge of the labor market, lifelong learning, self-knowledge, job search techniques, among others.
The 4 tools will be available for free online while open educational resources being produced in 4 languages: English, Portuguese, Italian and Dutch.
The launch of EMPLAY tools is part of the European Capital of Youth program - Cascais 2018!
The 4 EMPLAY tools have been designed for different audiences: for technology lovers, for traditional ones who love the smell of paper; some are for group use, others are for individual use. They can be used by all (students, people who are working, job seekers) and also by employability technicians, animators, social educators, teachers!
All tools aim to support reflection, self-knowledge and personal development in various dimensions of employability.
