It was today, August 8, that the last volunteer action took place that allowed young people to perform 4 hours of volunteering to acquire a ticket for the 12th day of the Cascais Youth Festival 2018, the third day of concerts.

The tickets that were awarded at the end of this action are part of GiveMe4, an initiative that permeates citizenship and social responsibility of young people through volunteering.

The goal is to arouse a taste for volunteering and working for the community. This year, because Cascais is the European Capital of Youth, GiveMe4 has moved to our village and happens for the first time in Portugal.

The basis of GiveMe4 is a music festival, which will take place on August 12, 2018, starting at 9pm, at the Manuel Possolo Racecourse in Cascais, with performances by Gabriel O Pensador, HMB and Pedro Vaz.

In today's action to clean the coast, which was run with the support of Cascais Ambiente and TAP, 30 young people collected more than 50 kilos of garbage between 9:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.

The citypoints also had a presence in the action and gave 10 points to all participants.
