Diogo Prazeres | CULTURA NO BAIRRO volunteer

My name is Diogo Prazeres, I'm 19 years old and I'm a student of Management and Hotel Management at the Superior School of Hospitality and Tourism of Estoril. This was the first year I was accepted into the Cultura no Bairro summer program. I signed up for this program because I was told it was a good experience as well as a great way to take my summer.

Initially I had signed up the previous year, however I was not able to participate in the project. A year later, I re-enrolled and was accepted for the first shift.

After spending a month in the Museum of the House of Santa Maria I met lots of spectacular people who, in addition to receiving me badly arrived, also proved to be excellent people to work with. In addition, I leave the first shift with an experience to put on my resume as well as some contacts that will prove useful for my future. However, the opportunity came to participate in the third round of the program on different equipment and I did it.

Cultura no Bairro program is a great experience that I recommend to anyone! I loved working together with the staff of the equipment as well as with my colleagues in the program.
