Carolina Reis | FÉRIAS NA DESPORTIVA volunteer

My testimony as a volunteer for the program Férias na Desportiva refers to the project in the School of Rugby of Galicia.

It was this summer that I decided to apply for the first time to the School of Rugby of Galicia, with the purpose of trying something different, an environment in which I had never worked, in order to improve in particular my ability to interact with the next and myself in full. I submitted my application in advance and when I learned I was accepted, I was extremely happy and confident.

It was an immensely dynamic and fun experience! Each day was different from the previous one, which was quite motivating and captivating. I succeeded, thanks to the children with whom I interact daily, with my colleagues and superiors, to overcome numerous difficulties that I had in communication with my fellow men. The project also helped me and reinforce certain values ​​such as the importance of organization and compliance, solidarity with others, patience, empathy and understanding for others (among many other values, of course).

I loved the experience as a volunteer in the School of Rugby of Galicia. I am very grateful for the colleagues I have been with and also for the superiors and the fantastic children with whom I have lived every day who have taught me to play again and have revived my childish spirit!
