Ibercup, the world youth soccer tournament, took place between Monday to Saturday in Estoril, Cascais, "an initiative that brings together more than 250 men's and women's teams", with more than 40 thousand players from 18 countries.

With the purpose of combining an international soccer tournament with a family holiday, the event included teams such as Sporting, Estoril, Belenenses, Dragon Force Porto (of Futebol Clube do Porto), Vâlencia, Bristol Inner City FA or USA United.

The finals of the games were played on Saturday, July 7, at the Dramatic field in Estoril. Madrid Fusión beat URD Tires 4-1 and GD Estoril Praia A beat Vga ST Maur 2-1.

In group A, FC Versailles won, in group B won CF Belenenses C, in group C, the winner was EF Belenenses, in group D RC Joinville, in E the Belenenses and in group F won the Madrid Fusión.

After Estoril, the tournament flies to Barcelona and takes place between 10 and 14 July. Players are already on their way to the Spanish city.
