In the Environmental Interpretation Center of Pedra do Sal, in São Pedro, you can find all the beatas collected by the Marézinhas in the summer of 2018!
Throughout 90 days of activity, the Volunteers of the Viva Maré Program collected 344,000 beatas, between Guincho and Carcavelos Beaches!
They avoided as soon as about 17,200 packets of tobacco went to sea!
Cigarette filters take a few years to degrade in the environment, during which they release contaminants, so it is important to collect and recycle this material.
