It is already on August 17, Friday, that the Bay of Cascais receives once again Festas do Mar.
On this stage, near the Atlantic, great names of Portuguese music will be played until Aug. 26: Agir and Carolina Deslandes, names recognized by the country that Cascais helped launch, they return home, Pedro Abrunhosa, José Cid, António Zambujo, Gisela João, David Fonseca and Diogo Piçarra are waiting to move with them thousands of fans.
Fully in Portuguese, the music will be, during the 10 days, for all ages and for all tastes, with free concerts always starting at 8:30 p.m.
Every year, estimates point to 500,000 viewers moving to Cascais during the 10 days of concerts.
On the last day, which will end with fireworks, the party is also popular, with the Procession by land and sea in honor of Our Lady of the Navigators, which will take place at 3:00 p.m.
