Tour AGARRA A VIDA 2018

The "Tour Agarra a Vida" is a project of social responsibility in the prevention, sensitization and information on the risks of drug addiction.

Through extreme sports such as skateboarding, inline skating and BMX, this project shows young people that it is possible to feel adrenaline in a healthy way, without taking risks or using drugs.

With this project, schools can offer their school community a different, radical day, including demonstrations of extreme sports with the best national athletes, music, reward pastimes and information on the subject of drugs, as well as a debate on the associated risks to drug use.

Academia dos Patins, responsible for the project, is an entity with wide experience in the organization of events and projects in the area of urban radical sports, as well as in the development and design of solutions and structures for the practice of these modalities.

Since 2001, it has been concluding cooperation protocols with several public entities, in order to carry out actions to disseminate information and prevent drug use, using as a preventive instrument the healthy practice of sports.

In 2006, she collaborated with NBP, collaborating on the "Morangos com Açúcar" series, donating athletes to doubles, building ramps, forming actors in the field of extreme sports and providing expert advice in this area.

Some of the biggest skateparks were built, not even 50 skateparks in just 7 years, from Portugal and worked with the Angolan, Cape Verdian and Spanish markets.

In the events of this project will participate the skaters Pedro Roseiro, João Viola and Lais Reis, BMXers Nuno Faria and Rodrigo Vicente and Miguel Ribeiro of inline skates. In addition, thematic giveaways and various information media will be made available and will focus on "Primary prevention of drug addiction and positive lifestyles", supported by a technician with training and professional experience in the area of drug addiction.
