What is the Try More?

Your first opportunity to experience volunteering while having fun, learning and making friends for life. Participants will be accompanied by two Young Route monitors and will participate in various moments of socializing, fun, volunteering and sharing of feelings, emotions and knowledge. The methodologies used will always be based on non-formal education and participatory methods.

When?

December 16 to 19, 2018!

Where?

The activities will take place in several places of the county, with the support of several organizations.

The accommodation will be at the Hostel Nice Way Cascais - Avenida Tenente Coronel José Pessoa 15, 2750-500 Cascais.

For whom?

Young members of the Youth Route, between 12 and 17 years of age, living in the municipality of Cascais, who have interest and motivation in the theme of social solidarity and volunteering.

How can I register?

To enroll in the program you must complete your data in this online form and also add the reason you wish to participate. This year we only have 10 places and if the number of registered participants exceeds this amount, we will have to select the participants by their motivations.

How much?

Try More has a participation fee of € 15. * In the case of withdrawal or non-attendance, there will be no refund of the participation fee.

The project is co-financed through the IPDJ (Portuguese Youth Institute) and therefore accommodation, food, insurance and local transport are guaranteed within the activities.

* If you are not yet a member of Rota Jovem you will have to proceed with your registration. This registration has a value of € 12 per year (added to the participation fee). But it is important to emphasize that both payments can be facilitated and that the young person should not enroll or participate due to financial impossibilities.
