The Christmas holidays 2018 will count on the Volunteer Programs Locals and Natura Observa! Registrations are already open for youngsters that live and / or study in Cascais!

Locals, for youngsters from 18 to 30 years of age, intends to maximize the visit of tourists to Cascais by means of assistance in the train stations, the railway transport network, and in the village in strategic locations around Cascais. This program will run from December 15 to 31, 2018.

Natura Observa, for young people between the ages of 16 and 30, created Salamandra a special project that focuses on the reforestation of the Natural Park Sintra-Cascais, within the framework of the post-fire action plan developed by the Municipality of Cascais. The Salamandra will be held between December 7 and 21, 2018.

Volunteer programs aim to encourage the practice of active citizenship actions, youth participation and the importance of teamwork. All the young participants are awarded a bag for transport and food!
